— A Bit About Me —

I have worked with various news outlets since my career began in 2014, with bylines at POLITICO, The Detroit Free Press, Indianapolis Star, Ann Arbor News and more. I also served as Editor-in-Chief of my campus paper, Central Michigan Life, managing staff through anything from a presidential inauguration to a campus shooting. My work has been highlighted in CNN and the Columbia Journalism Review, as well as by the Washington Post.

I’m a graduate of Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Political Science, the latter of which was completed at Moscow State University in Russia.

Outside work, I’m an avid trail hiker and comic book collector. I’m also partial toward my cat, the Pittsburgh Penguins, horror movies and my husband… though not necessarily in that order.
